nanook writes: I allways had pictues of beeing inside the wall of a cage, as big as a cosmic mountain range, chained like prometheus destined to be allone with nothing but echo from the facing mountain ranges. the pictures felt like memories of my womb time.

I had these imagery refreshed (?) on shrooms two years ago. it is different from the salvia vision, in visuall aspects and in the fact that a salvia vision does not feel anything like a concrete life memory. though it may feel like something everpresent and known, like a bardo state. i am not sure about wheter they have common implications/meanings

i associate the topic to stanislav grofs second and or forth matrix. (the forth one beeing implicated by how it is a diametral contrast to the second)

images like Scott Cranmer’s sort of unite those matrices along the vertical axis. like maybe.

on a salvia level 3 bordeline 4 vision (a year ago) i saw mountains of white stone, featuring cultured spots like memorial sites, with a massive amount of inlet eyes, like amber (bernstein) or goat eyes, eventually aligned in cultic shapes. while googling for images to “mountain range salvia divinorum” hoping to find either such a shambhala like stone arrangement or such brownish eye-things i found the image of this amber butterfly/moth which has verry similar structures & colors. it was selected by limpwristsatan - Mink Snopes (via Casual Eudaimonia: Moth Undulations) who reports about his level ~ 3 salvia trip (click on the link below). he also mentions a dream of two minding entities with an unpersonal approach to judgement about the visitor. I had them too, in another salvia vision, level 5/6, in a much more concret way (godlike entities having a ball, me beeing the ball. godlike means, the realm in which they pwned me, appeared to be, well, them). but to this mountain vision i was without such accompaniment.

Integral Options Cafe: The Myth of Shambhala

“The myth of Shambhala is one the most enduring and corrupted ideas to come from Buddhism. Even the Nazis attempted to claim some form of occult inspiration from the idea. [….] the Shambhala myth itself has gradually slipped from its prominent place in the Western imagination.[…]It has, however, persisted as a vestigial cultural memory, sneaking into the popular lexicon in disguise. When the West dreams of a utopian mountain hideaway, it now dreams of Shangri-La.[…] Shangri-La arrived in our collective fantasy life through Lost Horizon, a 1933 novel by James Hilton[…]Thus Shambhala remains with us in a third-generation form — no longer the impetus for daring or dastardly exploration of far-flung lands, it has moved from myth, to fiction, to a mere passing daydream.
